Comprehensive management platform for barbershops and salons: bookings, customers, payments and analysis of no-shows using our own algorithm.
🧠 The Idea
Snipply was born from observing a real problem in the hairdressing and beauty sector: business management is still done with paper, WhatsApp, or generic tools that don’t understand the industry.
I didn’t want to create another generic appointment manager.
I wanted a platform specifically designed for barbershops and salons, with tools that truly matter.

🏗️ Architecture
Snipply is built with:
- Laravel 12 as the main backend
- Livewire for real-time interactivity without additional JavaScript
- Tailwind CSS with a custom token system (
snipply-green,snipply-amber…) - Relational database optimized for availability and bookings
- PWA for a native mobile experience without the need for an app store
📊 What’s Interesting About the Project
The most complex part wasn’t managing appointments, but:
- Designing a no-show algorithm that learns from each customer’s behavior
- Modeling availability considering services of different durations and overlaps
- Building a smooth and fast mobile experience as a PWA
- Creating a coherent design system adapted to the sector
The no-show prediction algorithm was particularly challenging: it combines customer history, time slots, day of the week, and business patterns to anticipate absences before they occur.

Snipply is not just a digital agenda.
The goal is to provide any barbershop or salon with the tools that were previously only available to large chains:
